The Project requires approvals from the Queensland and Commonwealth Governments. Approval applications plan to be submitted in late 2024.
Cubico has commenced comprehensive studies and assessments covering matters such as ecology, visual amenity, noise, aviation, traffic and transport, cultural heritage, and biodiversity. These studies and assessments will inform the design, planning and construction of the Project, ensuring potential impacts can be avoided, mitigated, and minimised.
Cubico is committed to delivering a responsibly designed project that complements the existing agricultural operations of the land and shares benefits with the surrounding region.
